Kitty Eyes

Out and about last week, I felt like I was being watched!  Sure enough -- glancing into the sky, I surprised these kitty eyes.  I think she winked just after I took her photo.

I took this picture of a perfect circle cloud out the window of our car as we traveled down Oregon Interstate 5.  In a few moments it was gone.  How blessed I am to have caught it before it disappeared!

Back Yard Heart - Guest Heart Thursday

I was out in the garden earlier this spring, when what do I see but a heart floating overhead. The clouds blew me a kiss!

Caped Crusader, or is it?

I can see many things in this oddly shaped configuration of clouds.  Could it be a dolphin?  Maybe it's superman looking upward, his billowing cape flowing behind him.  OR, perhaps it is a giant pair of lips!  What do YOU see?

Heart Face - Guest Heart Thursday

As Sissy and I walked back home, The Abandoned blew a kiss for all to see.  If you look closely, there are also two faces--one looking to the left, the other to the right.  My favorite is the dear little face smiling to the right.

The Edge of Thunder

As we drove home through the Oregon's great Columbia Gorge, a thickening thunderstorm followed along.  Wind whipped the air. Hail pelted the windows and lightning flashed overhead.  Then quite suddenly, we were out and away--into the sunshine.

Looking back at the storm, I caught this interesting triangle cloud on The Edge of Thunder.

Heart of the Wild Wild Rose - Guest Heart Thursday

Though this photo isn't from the sky--I find this flower heart to be amazing.  It is a wild rose--they grow everywhere in the Willamette Valley.  These native blooms only have one layer of petals and are very fragrant.  It is a lovely thing to walk along a country road when these roses are in bloom.  The lazy sound of the buzzing bees, as the warmth of the sun teases the lovely scent out into the air--is delightful.  As you can see this rose forms a perfect heart!
