Yesterday afternoon a quick storm brewed over the coast range, spilling over our town, heading for Salem. Can you see the heart? I was amazed at the colors in this photo--and there are little bits of ice falling toward the camera--they almost seem like stars. It almost looks like a photo of a nebula from outer space!
Imagine my astonishment when this angel appeared--right from the center of the heart. These colors are not doctored. The rainbow was just like this. I've never seen anything like this cloud before!

Standing Alone
I love the feel of this photo, shot in the mountains near Grants Pass, Oregon. There is something wild and free here--a moment of stillness which captures one's attention. The way this tree stands alone, silhouetted against the fog, touches me.

Nestling Heart - Guest Heart Thursday
I love the look of this cloud heart. It is snuggling into a little cloud nest. When I look at this picture, I feel joy and a big hug from our Creator. I snapped this photo last summer over the fence in the alley!

Triangle Over the Moon
When my husband and I were at the beach this last January, the first morning, I awoke before the sun and was so excited to catch the moon reflecting from the waves.
The next morning, I awoke early once more and once again, I caught the moon over the water. When I went over the photos later that day, I was astounded to find a triangle over the moon. Can you see it?
