Hope Leads Us

I took this photo a few days ago as thunderstorms rumbled across the Mid-Willamette Valley.  Something about this one caught my fancy.  When I looked at it on the computer, I saw much more than just clouds and sunshine.

If you look closely, there is an angel's profile just over the sparkle of the sun.  She is pointing to something, it seems.  I can't help but think of Hope when I see this picture.  Our hope leads us to peace, strength and joy.

Happy Easter everyone!

Hearts and Angels - Guest Heart Thursday

Yesterday afternoon a quick storm brewed over the coast range, spilling over our town, heading for Salem.  Can you see the heart?  I was amazed at the colors in this photo--and there are little bits of ice falling toward the camera--they almost seem like stars.  It almost looks like a photo of a nebula from outer space!

Imagine my astonishment when this angel appeared--right from the center of the heart.  These colors are not doctored.  The rainbow was just like this.  I've never seen anything like this cloud before!
