Rectangle Cloud Over Sillhouette

Can you see it?  There is a rectangle cloud hovering over the cliff side of that hill.  I took this on our way back from Idaho a few weeks ago.

I love the straight lines of this cloud.  It caught my eye over the back fence.  My sister says it looks like a Borg ship in disguise!  lol

I took this photo a couple of years ago.  Such an interesting cloud--it's straight sides are unique, especially on that angle in the sky.

To me, it looks like someone took a huge piece of chalk and sketched this angled pattern into the sky overhead.

Blue Parallelogram -SkyWatch Friday

I happened to take this photo in February the day after our chimney fire.  I was taken the unusual appearance of a near parallelogram in the sky. 

Such beauty in the skies--somehow looking at those sky pictures, I felt hope as we are looking for the contractors to actually begin the restoration of our home sometime next week.

Mysterious Cloak of Sun -SkyWatch Friday

We were in the parking lot of Guitar Center where we'd met up with a buyer for some of our older theater lights.  I couldn't help but notice this odd cloud formation.  The straight lines were quite intriguing.

Here is a closer shot a few moments after the first was taken.  Shortly after this there was a terrible storm.

A few years ago my friend Lynn and I went to the beach and stayed for a couple of days.  This is one of the extraordinary photos I took that day.  Yes, I do see the mermaid--but do you see the giant rectangle???
