Celestial Hearts - Guest Heart Thursday

I captured these two cloudy hearts through the window of our car as my husband drove.  One knows these two hearts will soon meet and become one.  Ah, romance!  It makes me think of that long ago day I met my husband, all unknowing he would be the one who would fill my heart to the brim.

I took this photo over the fence in the alley outside the kitchen door.  I was amazed at the perfection of this circle.

Tulip Tree Heart - Guest Heart Thursday

I am often amazed at how many natural hearts can be found in nature.  It is as though the Creator places them on this earth for us to discover--a way of showing His great love for each of us.  Can you see the heart in this Tulip tree flower?  It makes me long for the warmth of Spring.

Squares in Glory

When Sissy and I went to the beach I caught these square clouds in glory light.  I counted three squares in all--I thought them breathtaking.

Heart of the Columbia - Guest Heart Thursday

As we drove along the Columbia Gorge on our way back home--I chanced upon this amazing heart in the skies.  I'm so grateful for a camera which captures things on the move!

Sky Opal

On our way back from Washington state Sunday night, we noticed a Sky Opal in the sunset.  I caught a glimpse of it with my camera as we drove over the Glenn Jackson Bridge back toward Oregon. Can you see it right about center, just over the hills of Portland?

Stony Heart - Guest Heart Thursday

I'm constantly amazed by the shapes found in nature.  This isn't geometric by any means--but it is a heart of stone carved by the hands of the sea.  Utterly lovely and perfect for this day's Guest Heart Thursday!
