Rainstorm Heart -Guest Heart Thursday
We've had more of our share of soaking rainstorms this Fall. This awesome gleaming heart appeared just before a huge deluge. I thought it perfect for this week's Guest Heart Thursday--and for Halloween--a holiday known not only for its costumes and spooky traditions--but a time of grave darkness (no pun intended), which will be pressed back by the light of the Creator.

Heart of Light -Guest Heart Thursday
We were on one of our long walks, when my little niece excitedly pointed out this heart of light. I barely had time to take a picture of it--then it was gone. Just a flitting bit of magic, rather like the kiss of an angel.

Heart of Light -Guest Heart Thursday
I took this picture as the sun set, during a wonderful trip my sister and I took to Pacific City on the Oregon Coast. This brilliant heart of light seemed perfect for today.
